Camera-Motion Dictionary
Name the feeling your product video needs and get five camera moves ranked for that product, with how each one breaks, the guard against it and a paste-ready prompt.
Use it when
- You have a product image or description and want motion that feels deliberate instead of a default drift.
- You are choosing between a few dynamic moves for a teaser and want to spend credits on the safest one first.
- Your generations keep smearing the product, bending thin parts or warping the logo.
Skip it when
- The video is about people acting or talking. These moves are chosen for physical products.
- You need a full multi-shot sequence with an edit arc. Plan it with Cinematic Shot Architect, then use this table to pick each shot's move.
Example
Input: [GOAL] = "make the headphone reveal feel powerful and premium" · [PRODUCT] = matte black over-ear headphones, brushed aluminium hinges, small white logo on each ear cup · [START IMAGE] = NO · [VIDEO MODEL] = Kling VIDEO 3.0 · [CLIP LENGTHS] = 3-15 s
Output (excerpt)
RISK PROFILE: Symmetric headband but asymmetric ear cups; aluminium hinges flare under hard light; small logos warp in fast or turning moves.
| MOVE | FEELING | SETTINGS | BREAKS | GUARD | READY PROMPT |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slow push-in | Quiet power | Slow, ease-in, 5 s | Focus drifts off logo | One focal point | Dark studio, matte black headphones on a slate plinth, one hard top light, the camera pushes in slowly; headphones keep their exact shape and finish |
| Vertical rise | Control | Medium, ease-in-out, 5 s | Top of band stretches | Keep product upright | Camera rises from plinth level to above the headphones, one hard top light, black background; shape, hinges and logos unchanged |
| Crash zoom | Impact | Fast, ease-out, 3 s | Smear, logo warps | Plain background, short clip | … |
START WITH: Slow push-in - lowest warp risk, and the light alone carries the premium feel. AVOID FOR THIS PRODUCT: Full orbit and whip pan: the ear-cup backs and logos would be invented or smeared.
