Models

Coding agents and app builders

The models Meevra items are written for, where they run and how to prompt them.

Facts checked 15 Oct 2026

Claude Code

Anthropic

  • Claude Opus 5.5 in Claude Codedefault

    claude-opus-5-5Released 2026-09Source

Default model on Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise and the Anthropic API; default effort medium.

  • Claude Fable 5.1 in Claude Codetop

    claude-fable-5-1Released 2026-09Source

Not a default on any plan; select with /model fable. Usage may bill to usage credits.

  • Claude Sonnet 5.5 in Claude Codefast

    claude-sonnet-5-5Released 2026-09Source

Select with /model sonnet; default effort medium in Claude Code.

Where it runs

  • Claude Code CLI and desktop app
  • CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md
  • .claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md
  • Plugins (bundle skills with other components)

Prompting notes

  • Keep each CLAUDE.md under about 200 lines; move multi-step procedures into skills and file-type rules into path-scoped .claude/rules/. Source
  • Skills live in .claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md (project) or ~/.claude/skills (personal); only the description loads until the skill runs, so the description must say what it does and when to use it. Source
  • Set depth with /effort (low to max; default medium on Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5) or include 'ultrathink' for one turn; a skill can set its own effort in frontmatter. Source
  • Claude Code reads AGENTS.md when the repo has no CLAUDE.md; otherwise import it from CLAUDE.md with @AGENTS.md. Source
  • Mark skills with side effects (deploys, sends) disable-model-invocation: true so only the user can trigger them. Source

Codex

OpenAI

  • GPT-6.1 Sol in Codexdefault

    gpt-6.1-solReleased 2026-09Source

OpenAI recommends it for complex coding and agentic work when available to the account; effort Light to Ultra (Ultra splits work across subagents).

  • GPT-6 Astra in Codextop

    gpt-6-astraReleased 2026-09Source

Included for Plus in Work and Codex; needs Codex CLI 0.153.0 or newer.

  • GPT-6 Luna in Codexbudget

    gpt-6-lunaReleased 2026-09Source

For focused, repeatable tasks; effort up to Max (no Ultra).

Where it runs

  • Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app
  • Codex CLI
  • Codex IDE extension
  • AGENTS.md
  • .agents/skills/<name>/SKILL.md
  • Plugins

Prompting notes

  • AGENTS.md: Codex joins one file per directory from the repo root down to the working directory, so closer files win; the default combined limit is 32 KiB, and AGENTS.override.md replaces a directory's AGENTS.md. Source
  • Skills go in .agents/skills (repo) or ~/.agents/skills (user); only name and description load first, so state scope and triggers in the description. Invoke with $ or /skills in the CLI and @ in ChatGPT. Source
  • Pick model and effort under the composer in the app, or with /model and --model in the CLI. Source
  • Tell the model that user instructions override skill guidance, and audit AGENTS.md and SKILL.md files for conflicting lines. Source
  • Bundle several skills, optionally with MCP apps, as a plugin to share them across ChatGPT and Codex; in the CLI browse plugins with /plugins. Source

Cursor

Anysphere

  • Composer 2.5default

    composer-2.5Released 2026-05Source

Cursor's own model, drawn from the plan's usage pool. Cursor marks no default model; Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Fable 5.1, Gemini 4 Argon, Gemini 3.8 Flash and GPT-5.6 models are also listed (no GPT-6 model listed on 2026-10-15).

Where it runs

  • Cursor app (agent chat and editor)
  • .cursor/rules/*.mdc
  • AGENTS.md
  • .cursor/skills or .agents/skills
  • Cursor Projects (beta, cloud)

Prompting notes

  • Project rules are .mdc files in .cursor/rules with description, globs and alwaysApply frontmatter; plain .md files there are ignored. Source
  • Pick a rule type: Always Apply, Apply Intelligently (by description), Apply to Specific Files (globs) or Apply Manually (@-mention). Source
  • AGENTS.md in the repo root and subfolders works as plain-markdown rules, and more specific files win; Team rules beat Project rules, which beat User rules. Source
  • Skills are SKILL.md folders in .cursor/skills or .agents/skills (Cursor also reads .claude/skills and .codex/skills); type / to invoke one or let the agent pick by description. Source
  • On Plus, Cursor's own models run at medium effort with Fast off; Premium and above can choose effort and Fast mode. Source

Antigravity

Google

  • Gemini 3.8 Flash in Antigravitydefault

    gemini-3.8-flashReleased 2026-09Source

    Available on all Antigravity plans.

  • Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravitytop

    gemini-4-argonReleased 2026-10Source

Google AI Ultra and Enterprise only; not in the Antigravity IDE.

  • Claude Opus 5.5 in Antigravityalt

    claude-opus-5-5Released 2026-09Source

With Claude Sonnet 5.5, on Google AI Pro (non-trial), Ultra and Enterprise.

Where it runs

  • Antigravity 2.0 desktop app
  • Antigravity CLI (agy)
  • Antigravity IDE
  • AGENTS.md or GEMINI.md
  • .agents/rules and .agents/skills

Prompting notes

  • Rules go in AGENTS.md or GEMINI.md (plain markdown, always on in their folder) or in .agents/rules/*.md with a trigger in frontmatter: always_on, model_decision, glob or manual. Source
  • Keep rules lean: each rule file is truncated after 24,000 bytes, and global plus always_on rules share a 20,000-token budget. Source
  • Put constraints in rules and multi-step procedures in skills; workspace skills live in .agents/skills/<name>/SKILL.md. Source
  • Choose reasoning effort in the model selector under the prompt box (in the CLI, /effort); the choice persists for the conversation. Source
  • Existing GEMINI.md and AGENTS.md rule files work unchanged in Antigravity CLI; workspace skills move from .gemini/skills to .agents/skills, and extensions convert with 'agy plugin import gemini'. Source

Lovable

Lovable

  • Lovable (Plan, Build and Chat modes)default

    lovableSource

Lovable does not publish which model runs its agent, so content targets the product, not a model.

Where it runs

  • Lovable chat (Plan, Build and Chat modes)
  • Project knowledge and workspace knowledge
  • AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md in the repository
  • Skills

Prompting notes

  • Make one change per prompt, check it in the preview, then move on; if a request has more than two 'and's, split it. Source
  • Name the page or component, the exact behaviour and what must not change; name the user role when the app has several. Source
  • Use Plan mode to inspect files, database and logs and agree a plan before Build mode writes code; switch to Plan mode to find the root cause when a fix keeps failing. Source
  • Keep a one-page Knowledge brief (product, audience, user journeys, features, design, recurring mistakes); project and workspace knowledge are each capped at 10,000 characters. Source
  • Lovable reads AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md in the project's repository (a root AGENTS.md is always read) and loads skills on demand when a request matches. Source

Bolt

StackBlitz

  • Bolt Standard agentdefault

    bolt-standardSource

Balanced for everyday building; Bolt picks the underlying model.

  • Bolt Max agenttop

    bolt-maxSource

Maximum reasoning for large apps, complex features, refactoring and open-ended tasks.

Where it runs

  • Bolt chat (bolt.new)
  • Knowledge (account, project or team)
  • Code view (Target file, Lock file)

Prompting notes

  • Treat the first prompt as a blueprint: state the architecture, frameworks and tools up front. Source
  • Use Enhance prompt (the + in the chatbox) to turn a rough idea into a structured prompt you can edit. Source
  • Build in small, specific steps; say what should and should not change and name the elements, classes or functions involved. Source
  • Put persistent instructions in Knowledge at account, project or team level. Source
  • Scope edits with Target file, Lock file or Lock all, or highlight code in Code view and use Ask Bolt. Source
