Veo Dialogue Scene
Write one Veo clip where people talk: lines cut to fit the clip length, a clear speaker for every line, timed beats and layered sound, plus checks for the result.
Use it when
- You want one short moment of speech: a line to camera, a question and an answer, a reaction with a few words.
- Earlier attempts gave mumbled words, the wrong person speaking, invented extra lines, captions on screen or music you did not want.
- You need the line, the action and the sound to land in the same clip.
Skip it when
- The conversation runs longer than one clip or needs shot-reverse-shot coverage. Use the Dialogue-to-Screen skill, which plans the whole exchange across clips.
- The words must be exact for legal, medical or brand reasons. Record a real voice and keep generated speech for drafts.
- You need a real, identifiable person's face or voice. Do not generate it.
Example
Input: [VEO MODEL] = Veo 3.1 · [CLIP LENGTH] = 8 seconds · [SCENE] = a rainy bus shelter at night, one streetlight, a bus has just driven past without stopping · [SPEAKER A] = man, about 60, grey wool coat, low slow voice · [SPEAKER B] = woman, about 25, yellow raincoat, quick bright voice · [LINES] = B: "That was the last one, wasn't it?" A: "Forty years I've waited here, and it has never once stopped." · [LANGUAGE] = English · [ASPECT RATIO] = 16:9
Output (excerpt)
WORD BUDGET: 14 words for 8 s; script has 18 words; cut: the man's line becomes "Forty years, and it has never stopped."
