Multi-Shot Sequence
A whole mini scene as one Kling or Seedance generation: shots that fit the time, characters defined once, dialogue in the model's markup and a check per shot.
When to use
- A short scene of 2-6 shots that fits in one generation (15 seconds on Kling VIDEO 3.0 or Seedance 2.0, twice that on Seedance 2.5).
- You want the sound and music to run continuously across the cuts.
- You tried separate clips and the light, sound or character changed at every cut.
When not to use
- Longer pieces, or scenes where you want to re-roll single shots: plan separate clips with Storyboard to Shots.
- Veo or Gemini Omni: those clips are planned one shot at a time (Storyboard to Shots, Cinematic Shot Architect).
- A single continuous take: write one prompt and pace it with timestamps instead.
Example
User: 12 s, Kling VIDEO 3.0, 9:16. A barista finishes a latte, slides it across the counter, the customer tastes it and says one line. I have an Element for the barista.
Result (abbreviated): FIT: 12 s on Kling VIDEO 3.0 (limit 15 s) -> one generation BUDGET: Shot 1 wide ~3 s · Shot 2 insert ~3 s · Shot 3 medium with a 5-word line ~4 s · spare 2 s. PROMPT Small corner café at morning, soft window light from the left, warm wood counter. The barista is the bound Element. The customer is a man in his 40s with a navy knit cap. Shot 1: wide, static. The barista slides a latte across the counter toward the customer. Shot 2: close-up insert, slow push-in. Milk foam settles into a leaf pattern on the latte. Shot 3: medium on the customer, static. He takes a sip and lowers the cup. Customer (warm, English): "Exactly how I like it." IF IT FAILS - Shots 1 and 2 merge -> make Shot 2 an extreme close-up from above.
Illustrative example; actual output will differ.
