Style Lock System
One five-line style block, checked on three different subjects and tightened from your feedback, so a whole series looks like one director made it.
When to use
- You are starting a series, a campaign or a multi-shot film and want one look.
- Your existing clips look like they came from different films.
- A brand wants a reusable AI video look for future work.
When not to use
- One clip only: a single good prompt is enough.
- The piece mixes looks on purpose (a montage of eras): build one lock per look.
- The problem is a character's face or outfit changing, not the look: use Continuity Keeper.
Example
User: I want a 1970s Scandinavian documentary look for a series about craftspeople. 16:9, Kling VIDEO 3.0.
Result (abbreviated): STYLE LOCK v1 COLOUR: olive green, rust orange and oatmeal beige, faded blue accent; low contrast; gentle saturation. LENS: 50mm feel, moderate depth of field, eye-level camera, static or slow handheld drift only. LIGHT: soft overcast daylight from a side window, no hard shadows. TEXTURE: visible 16mm film grain, slight softness, clean air. COMPOSITION: subject off-centre on thirds, generous empty space, 16:9. AFTER FEEDBACK - Drift: test B (a hand plane on a workbench) looked glossy and modern -> TEXTURE. Before: "visible 16mm film grain, slight softness" · After: "visible 16mm film grain, lifted blacks, matte surfaces, no glossy highlights".
Illustrative example; actual output will differ.
